The study of architecture takes place within a broad knowledge and skills base that includes arts, humanities, and the physical and social sciences. Central to this programme of study is the process of design including its cognate and supplementary disciplines, supported by lectures, seminars and tutorials. These have been developed to inspire and encourage investigation and testing of the techniques, technologies and knowledge involved in the creation of architectural spaces and structures.
